The Meek Company, Indiana to California. Iowa section. [ca. 1966]

Account of a portion of an overland expedition undertaken by a company of wagons traveling with cattle. The account describes travel and weather conditions, encounters with Indians and other travelers, and various company activities. The company entered Iowa from Missouri and left by way of Nebraska. Mention is made of the Mormon trail.
